Explore the scenic village of Milford beside its millpond, on a heritage walk led by museum curator Jessica Chase. Along the way, we’ll hear stories from village resident Bruce Dowdell and insights into building styles from heritage architect Edwin Rowse. Milford was a hive of activity from the 1800s into the 20th century, with mills and all the services needed for this agricultural community on the South Shore. We’ll meet at Mount Tabor Playhouse (formerly the United Church), which sits on a height overlooking the millpond. Our tour ends at PECish Bakery and the option of stopping for artisanal French pastries!
