About Sohayla Smith
Sohayla Smith is a country singer-songwriter from Shelburne, Ontario. She released her latest country cover single “Teenage Dirtbag” (Wheatus), April 1st, 2025 - it’s receiving airplay on rock, country, and adult contemporary radio around North America. Her original, “Bad Boys”, was released on August 1, 2024, that played for 3 months on Top of the Country - Sirius XM. “You Are Enough” (Aug 2023) has over 88k streams on Spotify, “What’s A Girl Gotta Do” (Feb 2022) has been playing for over 3 years on SiriusXM channel 171 since it’s release, and “City Girl” (Oct 2022), written for her mother, was beautifully produced by Jeff Dalziel. Sohayla was supporting act for the Jim Cuddy Trio in 2020 and 2021. Sohayla is also an award-winning Celtic harpist, a classical pianist, and a flamenco guitarist.
