Kempt Shore Ocean View Campground is a scenic 20-acre destination located on the beautiful Minas Basin in Hants County, Nova Scotia. Open from June 1 to September 30, the campground features over 800 feet of sandy beach frontage with stunning views, serviced and non-serviced campsites, flush toilets, free showers, and easy access to nearby attractions like the Kempt Quarry for freshwater swimming and kayaking.
The campground is best known as the home of the Acoustic Maritime Music Festival, a four-day celebration of Canadian and Maritime acoustic talent held annually on the third weekend of July. Other popular events include the Kempt Shore Music Campout in August, featuring open mics and jam sessions, and the Appreciation Campout in September, complete with a potluck, games, and field jamming.
